Strengthening Families

Strengthening Families Program is a community-based program that provides family sessions for families with children focusing on teaching families coping skills, setting boundaries, and communicating with one another. The program also provides prevention presentations available to the community to increase parent and youth knowledge, skills, and attitudes.

Strengthening Families Program Includes

  • Staff also host fun and engaging activities for the community to enjoy in a safe, drug-free environment
  • Families enrolled in the program participate in a 14-week session; one-2 hour session per week utilizing the Strengthening Families curriculum
  • Disseminate information and change attitudes through communications
  • Refer participants to additional education or intensive services
