PADRE Program
The Parenting Awareness & Drug Risk Education (PADRE) program provides community-based intervention services to parenting males and females at risk for involvement or currently involved with the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) with substance use disorders or who are at risk of developing substance use disorders.
PADRE Program Includes
- Program services offered Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or by appointment
- Case management services
- Expansion of services that include the family component
- Positive alternative activities to increase family bonding
- Comprehensive linkage to services
- Skill building educational sessions utilizing evidence-based practices

- Texas Residents
- Parents of children under the age of six years
- Parents with open CPS cases
- Parents with high-risk factors
