J Edward Stern and Helen M.C. Stern Charitable Foundation Provides New Grant to Aliviane’s Family Enrichment Program

Aliviane recently received a $2,000 grant from the Stern Foundation in support of the launch and implementation of the Family Enrichment Program at the Women’s and Children’s Residential Center. The Family Enrichment Program provides children and their mothers with a variety of extra curricular, culturally enriching activities throughout the course of residential treatment. Aliviane’s Women and Children’s Residential Center is the only place in El Paso that provides a woman to bring her children with her while receiving treatment. Aliviane offers a structured , non judgemental safe environment for women and parenting women struggling with addiction, including individual and group therapy sessions, parenting skills classes, alcohol/ drug education, and comprehensive case management services.

“We are so grateful for the donation from the J Edward Stern and Helen M.C. Stern Charitable Foundation. This donation will impact numerous women and children in our program,” stated Ivonne Tapia, Aliviane CEO.
