curriculum for families with children 6 – 11 years of age, within the El Paso city limits. This program is specifically designed for children of substance abusing parents or parents at risk of substance abuse.

Project Alpha–
Is a drug prevention program that was the first of its kind to serve children and families living in the rural counties of Alpine, Marathon, and Southern Brewster. The program also includes prevention education and skills training, to enhance communication, problem solving, decision-making and conflict resolution and it is offered to students at Alpine Elementary and Middle schools.

Nuestras Familias Housing Program –
Nuestras Familias Housing Program is an alcohol and drug prevention program for families with children ages 6 to 11 that provides techniques for improving the quality of life for families. The program is intended to enhance parenting skills, coping skills, and increase family communications. Overall, the program increases the participants quality of life as well as their quality time as a family. Classes are 14 weeks long and are held once a week for 2 hours. Daycare is provided for children ages 2 to 5 or 12 and up, and family outings are held for participants.
