Community Treatment and Services Center (CTS)
The CTS program exists to help rehabilitate families dealing with behavioral health problems, teach them symptom management and to deal with the critical life problems connected to behavioral health disorders. This is done through individual counseling sessions with a mental health professional for both parents and children. The goal of therapy for parents is to teach them how to engage the child emotionally by being playful, loving, accepting, curious and empathetic. The goal of therapy with the child is to resolve the fear of loving and being loved, and develop a healthy attachment to the mother. Services for children and adolescents include:Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competence (ARC)
Clinical and non-clinical staff at IRBHS receive Child Adult Relationship Enhancement (CARE) training.
